Clifford Goldsmith, Chief Medical Officer and National Director, US Providers, Microsoft Health and Life Sciences
Clifford Goldsmith brings a unique experience to Microsoft as a physician who also has over 33 years of know-how envisioning, designing, developing, and selling high-performance solutions for the healthcare industry. He has been with Microsoft’s Healthcare team for more than 18 years and in his current role of US CMO and National Director, he designs, develops and executes Microsoft’s strategy for the US Healthcare Provider Industry. Dr. Goldsmith has focused on numerous areas of healthcare information technology including value-based payment models, AI and ML for Health, rare diseases, clinical trials, medical devices and embedded systems, process improvement and patient engagement. Dr. Goldsmith received a B.S. and an M.B.B.Ch (MD) from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Carol Gomes, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Stony Brook University Hospital
Carol is a member of the senior executive team, serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Stony Brook University Hospital. Formerly, she was the Chief Quality Officer with administrative oversight for the departments of Continuous Quality Improvement, Decision Support Services, Clinical Pathways and Management Engineering. She was also the Associate Director for Quality Management and Associate Director for Neurosciences. She earned two Master's degrees from Stony Brook University in Management and Policy from the Harriman School of Management and Policy, Healthcare Management and Administration from the School of Allied Health Professions.

Louis A. Shapiro, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer, Hospital for Special Surgery
Louis A. Shapiro is President and CEO of HSS. He has served in this role since October 2006, overseeing all strategic and operational aspects of the Hospital and fulfilling its mission – to advance the field of musculoskeletal medicine through world-class patient care, research and education. Under Mr. Shapiro’s leadership, HSS has experienced significant growth, expansion of facilities and recognition as the world leader in its specialty areas of orthopedics, rheumatology and their related disciplines. Mr. Shapiro earned his BS and MHA degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.

Kathleen Silard, MS, BSN, RN, FACHE, President & CEO, Stamford Health
Kathleen Silard began her career as a nurse in the pediatrics and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Albert Einstein Hospital in New York. Following a transition to healthcare administration, she joined Stamford Health in 2003 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. During this time, she provided clinical and operational leadership to the growing health system. Kathy is passionate about making a difference in the communities served by Stamford Health and committed to leading a team of more than 3,000 employees who provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Kathleen led the organization’s facility master plan and was instrumental in opening the new Stamford Hospital on time and under budget. In 2018, Kathleen was named President and CEO of Stamford Health.

Susan Fox, President & Chief Executive Officer, White Plains Hospital
Susan Fox, President & CEO of White Plains Hospital, is recognized as one of Westchester County’s most influential executives. A visionary leader, Susan has been at the forefront of the healthcare industry transformation regionally, over the last decade. By forging strategic partnerships and aligning and recruiting top clinical and administrative talent, Susan has driven the expansion of White Plains Hospital into the leading provider of advanced healthcare in the Hudson Valley. Susan first joined the WPH team in 2010 as Senior Vice President of Administration bringing with her more than 25 years of experience in health management administration. In 2011 she was named Executive Vice President and then President in January, 2013. Susan assumed the position of CEO of White Plains Hospital on May 1, 2015.

Diane P. Diane Kelly, DNP, RN, President, Yale New Haven Health Greenwich Hospital
Diane P. Kelly, DNP, RN was appointed to the position of president of Greenwich Hospital in June 2020. Kelly was hired in 2018 as the chief operating officer for Greenwich Hospital. Prior to that, she held various clinical and leadership roles at Berkshire Medical Center, culminating in ten years as chief operating officer. Diane is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a Doctorate in Nurse Practice from the University of San Francisco and a master’s degree in Business Administration.
